          A minister friend of mine once narrated to me how he was embarrassed by another minister for failing to introduce him properly by adding all the man's titles. What was the problem? My friend did not remember to add J.P to this man's other titles. After the service the man accosted my friend and scolded him for the omission. Well in case you may like to know, J.P could mean Justice of Peace, Jerusalem Pilgrim or it could mean Juju Priest. One of the problems with Africans is that we are title crazy.

         There is nothing wrong with titles especially well-deserved ones. my only worry is when Christians parade about with titles(s), without a mantle. It is like a man going into the battle field without any weapon.

         The seven sons of Sceva went everywhere with the title "Levites." On this particular day, title failed because what was needed was mantle. They had observed Paul casting out demons and they decided to imitate him. Titles can neither cast out demons nor heal the sick. Let us go for the real thing (mantle) and leave shadows, (titles) behind.
